Psychotherapy/psychoanalysis means attending to the soul – paying attention to the essential aspects of what it is to be human. There is more to your relationship than what you experience on the surface.
As your therapist, my job is to create a sense of safety in which you can investigate the unconscious and conscious motivations that influence how you perceive your partner and how you both interact within the relational world around you. We will explore those aspects within your relationship that are not fully known and how they replay the past into the present and how they can be known and changed.
Messages that you have internalized about what you "should" do and how you "ought" to be, will fade before the dawning awareness of who you truly are and who you are meant to be. Of being human and knowing your own heart and mind.
